Pair of Top-10 finishes at Lucas Oil Speedway during Spring Nationals
Dillon McCowan decided to stay closer to home over the weekend as he competed at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) for the Spring Nationals doubleheader weekend.
With just over 40 Late Models on hand, McCowan grabbed the final transfer spot in his heat race and made up four positions in the 40-lap feature to land inside the Top-10 in ninth.
With $20,000 up for grabs on Saturday, Dillon charged from sixth-to-third in his heat race to start on the fifth-row in the 60-lap finale. McCowan recorded another Top-10 finish in 10th.
