McCowan collects four Top-10 finishes in second week of Summer Nationals

Kicking off the second leg of the Hell Tour early in the week, Dillon McCowan unloaded the Adam Family Motorsports No. 75 machine at Wilmot (Wis.) Raceway on Monday afternoon for the first of seven events this week.

McCowan opened up the week with a DNF, but rallied in Tuesday's feature at Davenport (Iowa) Speedway for a seventh-place finish. Wednesday's event at Quincy (Ill.) Raceway was lost due to rain.

Dillon showed the most speed on Thursday evening with an eighth-place showing at Lee County Speedway (Donnellson, Iowa) as he started on the front-row of the $5,000-to-win feature.

With the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series joining the Hell Tour for the weekend at I-55 Federated Raceway Park (Pevely, Mo.), McCowan recorded a ninth-place outing in the first night of the Firecracker Faceoff and wrapped up the two-day event with a 13th-place finish.

Dillon finished up the week with a visit to Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway where he would match his best run of the week with a 13th-to-7th charge in the $5,000-to-win feature.

McCowan finished ninth in the week two Hell Tour point standings.
