McCowan collects five Top-5 finishes in final week of DIRTcar Summer Nationals
Closing out the DIRTcar Summer Nationals, Dillon McCowan competed across Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio for the fifth and final week of the Hell Tour.
Finishing fifth in the week's opener at Shadyhill Speedway (Medaryville, Ind.), McCowan recorded a 15th-place run on Wednesday before getting back into Top-5 on Thursday with a fourth-place run at Butler Speedway (Quincy, Mich.).
Dillon headed into the weekend and found himself on the podium at Crystal (Mich.) Motor Speedway with a third-place run behind Zack Mitchell and Tyler Erb. McCowan then recorded a fifth-place run at the Birthday Race at Oakshade Raceway (Wausen, Ohio) and wrapped up the fifth week with a fourth-place showing at Wayne County Speedway (Orrville, Ohio) on Sunday.
McCowan finished third in the week five point standings.
