Dillon McCowan kicks off 2026 season at Central Arizona Raceway during Wild West Shootout

Starting out the new season in the desert, Dillon McCowan was one of 46 Super Late Models that made the trip out West to Central Arizona Raceway (Case Grande, Ariz.) on Saturday evening for the Wild West Shootout opener.

McCowan opened up with a quick lap in qualifying and picked up a heat race win over Clay Stuckey and Brandon Sheppard. Dillon started on the front-row of the $25,000-to-win opener but fell outside the Top-10 to finish 12th.

On Sunday evening, Dillon started 16th in the $10,000-to-win feature and ran 13th.
