McCowan follows Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to Ocala Speedway

Unloading at Ocala (Fla.) Speedway for the longest stretch of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Speedweeks, Dillon McCowan joined a field of 36 Super Late Models for the first of five nights at the facility.

Missing the $7,000-to-win opener, McCowan made Wednesday night’s feature event and recorded a 16th-place outing. Dillon did not make the points opener on Thursday night and was unable to race on Friday due to the threat of severe weather. Dillon was able to make the $25,000 finale on Saturday and recorded another 16th-place finish.
