McCowan closes out Speedweeks with two Top-10 finishes at Golden Isles
Finishing up 2026 Speedweeks with the national tour, Dillon McCowan and his team rolled into Golden Isles Speedway (Waynesville, Ga.) on Wednesday afternoon for the final four days of the Wieland Winternationals.
McCowan missed the opening night feature event, but rebounded on Thursday and Friday with a pair of Top-10 finishes. Dillon moved from 12th-to-9th on Thursday before mounting a furious charge from 27th-to-9th on Friday. McCowan barely missed the $25,000 finale as he finished fifth in his B-Main.
