McCowan earns Top-10 with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Georgetown Speedway
Dillon McCowan and his team traveled to the Northeast with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, kicking off a three-race stretch with their first stop at Georgetown (Del.) Speedway on Friday evening.
With just under 30 Late Models on site, McCowan ran runner-up in his heat race and started from the fourth-row in the 49-lap feature event. Dillon ran inside the Top-10 and wound up 10th in the $21,049-to-win show.
Saturday's show at BAPS Motor Speedway (York Haven, Pa.) was weathered out.
McCowan then closed out the weekend with a 16th-place run at Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway in the Conococheague 40.
